About Alex Jacquet
As the Chief Operating Officer and Head of Product for Smiletime, a live video technology company, Alex Jacquet draws on a diverse background in business. He received his MBA from Stanford University, where he was awarded first place at Stanford’s Digital Media Entrepreneurship Pitch Competition. During his time at Stanford, Alex Jacquet also completed an internship at Hulu, where he participated in content valuation and oversaw a project aimed at reorganizing the company's existing business model.
Prior to business school, Alex Jacquet served as a Senior Analyst in the Corporate Strategy and Business Development group at The Walt Disney Company. There, he worked on a broad range of acquisitions, sales and strategic investments across the company, including the acquisition of the English Premier League digital and television rights, Disney’s sale of the Power Rangers, and the sale of Miramax.
Previously, Mr. Jacquet served as an Analyst in the Global Industrials investment banking group at Lehman Brothers, in which he worked on M&A and financing projects for companies such as 3M, FedEx, and Delta Airlines.
